Goodbye Fort Wayne!

Jackson

Scott and I had a great time in the Fort!  We played our first round of golf in two years (actually we played two seperate nine hole rounds, but who's counting).  We ate a ton of food and got to visit with everyone.  Jackson got a well deserved trim and bath and then we had to say our goodbyes.  Time goes fast when you're having fun.  Fort Wayne was definitely a great way to start our trip.

Yesterday afternoon we headed to Ohio to check-up on our house and see some friends.  We ate a great dinner with Chad and Megan at a little cafe in Monroe called The Red Onion.  For those of you who live in the area I highly recommend it.  Great food and drinks!  Then we went back to the Reed's for some catching up.  What a great night, wish we could live closer to our friends.

So we have this great trip planned where half of it will be camping...well, we still don't have a tent or chairs.  I guess today we'll need to go shopping to get the last few items needed for our trip.  Darn, a little shopping on our vacation, nothing like waiting until the last minute!

  1. Hi guys. What an awesome trip. Your pics of the Dakotas brings back many memories. I've been to the Corn Palace...good times. I have nan uncle if he's still alive that leases thousadnds of acres in the Badlands from Uncle Sam to graze cattle. Tough life around there. You can find a postcard of him on horseback with a backdrop of the Badlands in most YouTube spots in that area. Have a blast. Jerry and Cherie
