We've been in Peoria for two days now and have had a great time staying with the Fiddes'. After getting into town last night we stopped over at Gander Mountain and finally bought a tent. It's huge and should be perfect for our trip. The tent is soooo big that there are wheels on one end of the carrying bag...do two people really need a tent that big...maybe with all of the gear we're bringing! We then headed over to Double A's here in Peoria, always a great time to catch up with the Fiddes family. Shelly and I tried a couple new drinks that were recently added to the menu; pomegranate martini and a peach martini, and of course had some of their awesome pizza.
We pretty much hung out at the house all day today. We've played many rounds of Uno Attack, watched a movie, and made some great food. Kelsey, Erica, and I made chocolate chip/butterscotch cookies this morning and then Scott and the girls made vanilla ice cream tonight.

It's our last night here and we're kicking back playing games and watching re-run episodes of Reba and Modern Family. Gotta love haning out with the girls!
WoW! There is always fun to be had where ever Aunt Mandy & Uncle Scott end up! Do you think the rest of the country is ready for them after they have been charged up by the Fiddes girls!? It's going to be a great three months! (Uncle Philip)
